My name is Shelia Cramer. As a cancer survivor for over six years of Hodgkins Lymphoma, I felt the need to share my experiences with my patients that are undergoing treatment for cancer. Helping patients maintain their oral health during chemotherapy and or radiation is very important to me. 

Side effects of chemotherapy or radiation can be dry mouth, a metallic taste, and the increased chance of getting cavities. Out of concern for our patients undergoing cancer treatment, I supervised the creation of a “cancer care gift bag”. We have included items that were beneficial and had worked for me during my chemotherapy and radiation, helping alleviate some of the side effects as well as boosting the spirits.
